A little bit of Freddie goes a long way

I know, three posts in one day! How lucky are you??

So we all know about the Futon Fiasco. Well there is still bits of futon lying around, although we try to sweep it all together. Fred likes to lie on it during the day.

He also likes to eat it. I don't know why. But we always find bits of fluff in their poo. Here is Freddie caught in the act of eating futon fluff. LOL

Although his chewing with the futon fluff hanging out of his mouth is VERY cute.

Chewing Away...

Chew, Chew, Chew!

So not to be outdone, Fred insisted on getting his photo taken this morning as well. Insist, as in, looked so cute I couldn't NOT take pictures..

Hrm, looks like something interesting over there!

But mum wants me to stay here so she can take a nother picture. So bummed...

Below you can see Freddie going to consult Rosie about how best to get the maximum number of photos taken to be put up on the blog, a la her original photo shoot.

Fred consulting the pro. Fred: "Hey Rose, I need your advice.."

And here are the results:

Fred: "right, according to Rosie, I first have to look away all fornlorn-like"

Fred: "..and then I look directly at the camera"

Fred: "...then I squint my eyes as if to say 'I don't believe what I'm seeing!'"

Fred: "this is followed by another direct stare"

Fred: "..and then a slump onto my forepaws"

Fred: "before giving the most forlorn look I can muster. Voila! My photo shoot is complete!"

I love my dogs.

The Awesome Duo

Following on from the previous post, here are some more of the puppies in their natural habitat

In case you weren't aware the doggies now have a brand new house that their daddy made for them about a month or so ago.

Here is Rosie showing off her new house:

Thedoghouse

And later...

Rosie: who goes there i say??

Rosie: Oh, it's you...

Meanwhile here is the sight I saw the other day. The dogs only sleep inside during the night. In the daytime they prefer to be out in the sunshine

where sleeping puppies lie

Fred: Oh that was a good nap. I think I'll just turn over

Fred: *snores* Rosie: Dammit. He woke me up and now he's sleeping on my leg. Dratted wolfhound..

I love that last pic. Fred looks like a horse. LOL. And Rosie's miffed body language.. hee hee.

In the second last pic you can see his little bitty teeth. SO cute!

Portraits of a Rosie

It's a beautiful winter's day today, so I decided to go out with my trusty camera and see what pictures I could take of my cutie pie doggies. I seem to have taken slightly more than I realised..

Here is:

"I-can't-believe-my-eyes-Rosie"

Hrmm I think Mum's looking at me

Now if I close my eyes it'll all be a hallucination

Argh, damn, she's still there.

This is followed by:

"Up-Close-&-Personal-Rosie"

Hrm, I wonder what's going on over there

Mum, you're freaking me out with that camera again

*sigh* I'll just keep on looking straight ahead. Maybe you'll stop if I don't look at you

And then there's just:

"Side-Profile-Rosie"

Eeek! The damn sun's in my eyes again!!

Oh my, I do look rather pretty don't I? (she says looking at the puddle of water at her feet)

And last but not least:

"Sleeping-In-The-Bushes-Rosie"

Sleepy Time Now

Isn't this the sweetest pic you ever saw???

Him and His Dog

Freddie the Cutie

I have tons of photos that I need to upload, but they never seem to be on the right camera whenever I want to update.

Here are the two latest pics I have of Freddie:

what's going on, mum?

I accidently took this pic of him while I was playing with the camera. You can see all the little details on his nose. And he's looking straight at the camera. hee hee hee

Peering around the corner

Here's Fred moping. I was busy taking pictures in the bathroom of my eyeshadows for my brochure (coz the bathroom has better light at night) and I happened to look over, and there was Freddy peering around the side trying to figure out why I wasn't busy cuddling him.

What a sweetie...

Pics of the eaten couch are coming - I promise! They're just on the other camera..

dogs and games and beds

Going through my computer I came across a whole bunch of photos that I hadn't uploaded. There's quite a number of funny ones.

Take this candid shot for example...

humans: check out those dogs! fred: uh-oh humans. i better mark my territory.damn, mum's taking pics

Rosie: Look at all those humans having fun. I wanna too...

Here is Rosie on the left looking forlornly out to sea. Of course the irony is that while she may look like she wants to go out there, in reality she doesn't really.

She'll put her feet in the shallows because she's curious and wants to sniff. But any further and she's gone.

While trying to drag Fred into the ocean is like trying to drag huge boulders of stone. It's not possible.

I think the pic below is so sweet. Little Harry (the bf's mum's dog) watching Freddie as he romps his way home, while Rosie stands in the back watching in case something happens. lol.

But they all look happy like a little family. Awww...

The Pack

Playing Dodge!Fred

Fred: I gotcha now!

Playing Dodg'em

These are also some cool photos of the doggies running around. I love how Rosie is practically horizontal in the first pic, and how she stops herself short in the second pic. She almost looks like she's leapfrogging. And Freddie's in half bound...

Here is another sweet photo, with Freddie sitting back while Rosie tries to get his attention to play.

Awww... all I seem to be saying is "awww..."

Fred: Let's take a rest now. I'm tired. Rosie: Aww come on, I wanna play!

Isn't that the sweetest photo of Rosie? I sense another Awwww coming on..

Rosie: Yes mum?

Taking a break

I think this was taken after Freddie was washed. His fur's standing on end, which it's prone to do after he's been washed. He's got that worried look on his face again. And his ear looks funny all turned back like that.

Fred: I'm so exhausted from playing. What's going on? Is there another game about to start?

Now whenever you go out playing, you have to remember to stay hydrated. Here is Freddie being a good boy and taking a moments to catch some H20.

l-l-l-l-iiiiiick

Fred: huh?

=P quit taking pics and let me drink in peace...

I think that the 'string' dangling from Freddie's mouth is actually a stream of water. I say this mainly because in the first pic there are 2 'strings'.

I LOVE the third pic though. The look of his face and his tongue. hee hee hee

Rosie and Harry

on your marks, get set....

kissy kissy

AAAATTTTAAACK!!!

HARRY: I'm gonna EAT YA NOW

and then fred decided he wanted to play too

Just FYI, Rosie doesn't usually play with other dogs. She plays with Fred - but only when she feels like it. With Harry she usually doesn't bother playing at all - especially not in the beginning. She only ever warms up after a while. This is later in the afternoon. And it's so sweet how she gets down to his level to play.

and some other pics..

i wonder what fred's inspecting so intently?

and what rosie's thinking about with that far off look in her eye

here's fred running again

and back to the mystery of the missing futon

Now remember last time when I was bemoaning the loss of the futon?

I found some more pics including the new 'bed' that I made them before it got destroyed.

Isn't my newly made bed nice?

Now Rosie obviously knows quality...

unfortunately later that evening all my hard work came to nothing =(

rosie: on second thoughts, hold that thought. she's still taking pics of us

rosie: why are you bummed fred?

fred: i'm bummed
