It is now winter and most nights I can be found near the wood heater stoking the fire.
Elsie knows that whenever I am sitting on the floor it's a free-for-all and she tends to come over and put her head in my lap.
Last night resulted in a bit of a Love-In with Elsie's head in my lap and Fred cushioned on her bottom.
My photos don't do justice to the two squiggly lumps of puppy that lay at my feet before me.
You can see Fred in the background there lying on her rump.

Fred: Wha-? Who? Me? Noo... I wouldn't deign to lay myself on Elsie's rump. I'm my own man, doncha know?
