In spite of those skeery teeth they're still very affectionate to each other.
Fred: Even though you show me your icky doggy breath and razor sharp teeth, I stil luvs ya, Els!
Elsie: Well that was a failed strategic move.
Fred: haha, I saw through your strategy easy!
Elsie: dammit. Better keep my cards closer then.
Fred: Oh come now Elsie, you're a crap poker player!
Elsie: What? I have a GREAT poker face!
Fred: No you don't Elsie.
